HEALING PRAYER REQUEST
Please e-mail at [email protected] your healing prayer request to the Child Jesus/Santo Niño, and it will be dropped inside the Santo Niño Healing Prayer Ministry's Petition Box in St. John the Evangelist R.C. Church's Healing Prayer Room in the Parish Life Center located at 29 North Washington Avenue, Bergenfield, New Jersey 07621.
Every Friday from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m., in St. John's Main Church, the members of the Santo Niño Healing Prayer Ministry lift up all the petitions and other intentions (including the healing of aborted children and loved ones with chronic illness) to the Child Jesus, by praying the Chaplet of Santo Niño, the Holy Rosary of the Blessed Virgin Mary and the Chaplet of the Divine Mercy, going to Confession (if necessary), and attending Mass and receiving Jesus in the Holy Eucharist.
On 1st Fridays, after the Mass, the brothers and sisters of the Healing Prayer Ministry stay in the Main Church to continue lifting up the petitions and their personal intentions by praying infront of the Blessed Sacrament during the Holy Hour, which ends with the Benediction. After the Benediction, the procession of the Blessed Sacrament to the Notre Dame Chapel in the Parish Life Center follows. There, the Eucharistic brother and sister adorers take turns overnight in praying to Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament. At seven in the morning of 1st Saturday, after the final Benediction, the Blessed Sacrament is returned to the Main Church and reposed inside the tabernacle.
Third Fridays, after the Mass at 8 p.m., are devoted to the preaching the Word of God on the theme "Jesus the Healer", and praying for healing through individual laying on of hands by a priest, in the Parish Life Center's Santo Niño Healing Prayer Room. Everyone is invited to attend this Healing Prayer Service, including children who are accompanied by a parent or guardian. Again, all petitions in the Petition Box are prayed over for by the priest and the community of believers. It is of paramount importance that all petitioners who request healing prayers for themselves or their loved ones must believe in their heart that Jesus is the Healer, Who can heal them physically, psychologically or spiritually.
All of the petitions are secured (please don't include your address and phone number) and held in strict confidentiality in the Petition Box, which is opened only when it is full and ready to be brought to a shrine of the Blessed Mother of our Lord Jesus Christ---Mary, who is also our Mother. In the past, the petitions were turned over for final safekeeping and intercession to Mama Mary at the Shrines of Our Lady of Czestochowa in Poland, Our Lady of Lourdes in France and the House of the Virgin Mary in Ephesus, Turkey.
